The Ministerial Seminary of America
Supporting Independent Ministers
Through Education, Training and Ordinaiton

About Us

The Ministerial Seminary of America was established in 2007 by the Reverend Barbara S. Eberle, MA, OMC.   Its purpose is to serve those who wish to obtain ordination to be of service to all of God's people.  The Seminary provides an alternative approach for students to take by providing training and direction regarding how to become an ordained clergy member.   Studies can be completed in as little as six months to a year and confer upon the student certification in their particular area of study.  Tuition payment plans are provided.

The Seminary's approach is one of warmth and support toward its students.  Students are mentored through email or US mail throughout their course of study.  Facilitators are available by phone when needed.

The Seminary's desire is to support those who seek to establish their own church, set up their own ministry or provide spiritual direction to the needy.   Graduates of the Seminary have established homeless shelters, battered women's shelters, street ministries, prison ministries and spiritual counseling practices, in addition to opening their own church or working for denominational and nondenominational churches.

Courses of study are academic in nature and require that students possess capable reading and writing skills.  Some courses require research or field study.  Students complete their studies with a sense of pride and confidence in their abilities to perform ministerial duties.

The Seminary is honored to have a high quality of students and graduates from our certification programs.  We look forward to being of service to you as you look for a legitimate and recognized program that leads to ordination.
