Certification as a Spiritual Witnessing Counselor provides students with an opportunity to share their healing gifts with those in need by preparing each student to establish their own private spiritual counseling practice. Delving deeply into the soul, we each find our own inspired words of healing. By creating a deeper and stronger connection with our own spirituality, we allow an opportunity for others to do the same.
This course is designed to train students in the art of spiritual counseling. Learning to listen deeply, while holding a sacred place for clients to find their answers from within, is central to this course. Students are also exposed to a wide variety of methods and theoretical frameworks to employ in order to help clients shift their perceptions from victimhood to personal power, spiritual growth and freedom. Always aligned with Spirit, this course provides a solid foundation from which students can begin their Spiritual Counseling Practice.
Courses are offered to ordained ministers, only. You are welcome to obtain your ordination through our seminary, but we honor ordinations from other organizations as well. Validation of previous ordination is required.
All textbooks as well as the Course Guide are included in the tuition fee. This is an independent, self-paced course of study with support offered via email. Tuition fee: $575.00.
Course Synopsis: (To be completed in the following order)
1. Completion of "Certified Spiritual Witnessing Counselor" Course Guide (provided on line). This course workbook guides you through a study plan utilizing each of the required textbooks. Textbooks are included in tuition fee and sent directly to the student's home after tuition payment has been processed.
2. Completion of "Letting Go of Childhood Pain" Workbook (Provided on line).
3. Final Exam (Student must receive a 75% or higher to obtain certification).
4. Three (3) practice sessions in Witnessing Spiritual Counseling with an MSA teacher or staff member via phone.
Upon completion of this course of study, students receive a Certificate and a diploma from the Seminary for each area of study completed. Students are granted the use of the credentials, CSWC (Certified Spiritual Witnessing Counselor) for use after their name.
